Artist's Statement
1: Actions, gestures and works functioning as blank space. 2: The depth and distance in the blank space. 3: And, those depths.
The more you layer it, the more the outlines become blurred and you cannot see what is at the centre. In fact, the act of layering is also an act of subtracting. These pieces become blank spaces with no centre and at the same time the surface appearance changes, in turn changing the shape and colour. For me, the blank space created inside and to the back of layers reflects an essential aspect.
